Prime Timers is a program for all men and women in the parish over age 50. It is designed to meet the spiritual, social, and service needs of this age group. We offer a variety of programs focused on these needs.
Spiritually, we offer the Ministry of Praise, in which a monthly letter is sent to elderly or home-bound members with a spiritual reflection and special intentions that they can pray for the needs of the parish.
Socially, we have a Bridge Group that meets twice a month and Bocce Ball in the summer. We also sponsor periodic outings to tour religious and cultural landmarks, have luncheons and dinners, and participate in the activities in the community.
Our service component includes tutoring at the Blessed Sacrament Learning Center, offering rides for important appointments, and providing friendly visits to homebound parishioners.
There are no general meetings since we are event-oriented. Programs are planned by our Board and communicated through the parish bulletin. All events are at-cost and we provide volunteer car-pool drivers.
Whether you are 50 or 90, still working or retired, TODAY is the Prime Time of your life! Watch the bulletin each week for upcoming activities and come celebrate life with us anytime!
