J17 is a chance for young people in 5th through 8th grade to explore their faith through activities and discussions focused on faith in real life.  It is easy to be a part of J17, simply return the sign-up packet (click here) and a check for $15 to St Luke Youth Ministry and join us for these great events: 

Faith Quest:

On four special Sunday nights this year, the high school students are inviting you to share their faith discussions.  Do not miss it!

 Won’t You Be My Neighbor?

What exactly does your faith have to do with cliques, bullying, sibling rivalry or the new kid in class?  Spend the afternoon with other guys and girls your age and let’s find out together. 

The Call

God has made you in to a very special and unique person with a special job to do in the world.  Lets play some games, hang-out, and talk about how you use your gifts. 

Service Opportunities:

Blanket Service Project

We will spend our evening creating no-sew fleece blankets to share with children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need of some extra love and security. 

Parish Buddies

Families who sign-up will be partnered with a senior member of the St Luke community.  Our senior parishioners have so much wisdom to share, and young families can offer strong eyes and voices for reading, help with household tasks, and friendly visits.  This is a year long commitment.
