In order to help young children hear the Gospel in a more personal way, they are sometimes invited to a Liturgy of the Word that is prepared especially for them.  On certain Sundays, 3, 4 and 5 year olds meet in the north sacristy and older children in the south sacristy for a simplified Liturgy of the Word which includes a homily or reflection designed just for them.  On some other Sundays, all the children are invited to gather at the foot of the altar, where the Liturgy of the Word is celebrated.

Those who will  preach to the children, meet in small groups to prepare their presentations, and all the necessary training and help is available.
