St. Luke's Sapphire & Gold Gala logo

Mark your calendars and plan to join us for St. Luke School’s biggest fund-raiser and social event of the year — our 2017 Sapphire & Gold Dinner Dance & Auction!

Kurtenbach Family portraitThis year, we are very pleased to be honoring Doug and Kathy Kurtenbach and their family for their contributions to the St. Luke community and help in making St. Luke School a premier source of Catholic education in the River Forest-Oak Park community. The event will take place on Saturday, February 25, at the Oak Park Country Club, 2001 Thatcher Avenue in River Grove. It’s a great time for parents, teachers, alums, and friends to come together to support the school and its standards of excellence.

Invitations are going out, and congratulatory ads are being accepted now through January 31. For more details, contact Sheila Price, St. Luke’s Director of Stewardship and Development, at 708-435-8927 or sprice@stlukeparish.org.

On behalf of the entire staff, we thank you for all the prayers and financial contributions you provide so that our parish can be present and serving you.

What's Happening?

Youth Mass
This Weekend

All high school and junior high school teens - and their families and friends - are invited to the next monthly Youth Mass in church this Sunday, January 22, at 5:00 pm. It will be followed by dinner and a program for the teens. Spread the word!

Donate Your Old
Mobile Phone

St. Luke's Domestic Abuse Outreach Ministry team is collecting old wireless phones as part of a campaign to benefit victims of domestic violence. All mobile phones, pagers and accessories - working or not - are being collected in bins at the back of church the next two weekends, January 14-15 and 21-22. The phones will be recycled by the HopeLine Program by Verizon. To donate: erase any data on the phone and remove the SIM card and any storage cards; then bring them along with batteries, charging cords, headsets and other accessories to church. Thanks for your support!

Bridge Day

St. Luke Prime Timers will have their next session of Bridge on Monday, January 23, from 12:00-2:30 pm in the Hospitality House. Newcomers are welcome.
